Help your toddler develop motor skills by rolling a ball back and forth with him. It’s fun and it helps your toddler develop eye-hand coordination.

  • medium-size ball

Step 1:  Sit on the floor with your toddler. Get his attention by calling his name and wait until he looks at you. Then roll the ball to him and encourage him to roll it back to you.

Step 2:  You might say a little rhythmic chant each time the ball is in motion.  For example:

Rolling, rolling, rolling.

Let’s keep the little ball rolling.
